Current Information:Born-Newington Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, France
On 8th February, 1915, the 1st Scottish Rifles battalion, then part of 19 Brigade, 6th Division, moved into trenches near Bois-Grenier where they remained until relieved on 13th February. During their time spent here they were often under both shell and sniper fire and it is likely that it was one of these that resulted in the death of Joseph Moffatt who died from wounds on 14th February. |
